you should only OIL …
you should only OIL the trap, and VERY slightly on the hinges
lightly condition any dry areas as needed.
if you oil everything, it will speed up the floppiness

DONT ADD OIL ON YOUR NEW GLOVE AND DEF. DONT BAKE IT! unless you want your new glove to become a pancake! then go for it. but the best way will just be to play catch practice with the glove until you think youre ready to use it on a game.
