Stephen Strasburg (born July 20, 1988 in San Diego, California) is a right handed power pitcher whose fastball reaches 103 miles per hour (mph), and is projected to be the number one overall pick by the Washington Nationals in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] He is 6′4″ tall, weighs 220 lbs., and bats right handed.
